Parful Clubs

Stableford scoring for your club or society

Most societies play Stableford for a simple reason: one bad hole costs a few points instead of the whole round, so everyone stays in the competition and the pace stays honest. The admin cost usually lands on one person, who spends the evening turning gross scores into points against each handicap. This page explains how Parful does that work instead.

Scoring on the day

One scorer per group opens the scoring link in their phone browser using a QR code, PIN or direct link. There is no app to download and no player accounts to create. The scorer enters gross strokes hole by hole, and each player’s playing handicap is applied for the tee they are actually playing, so a group off three different tees still scores against each other correctly.

Points, allowances and ties

Gross, net and Stableford all resolve from the same card, so running Stableford does not mean giving up the gross prize. Points use the standard Stableford table, net Stableford applies the configured allowance, and ties resolve by countback: back 9, then last 6, last 3 and last hole.

Modified Stableford and custom point tables are on the roadmap. Today the standard table and net Stableford with allowances are supported.

From one Saturday to the season

When the outing closes out, results are finalized once and everything moves: the day’s prizes resolve, season standings update, and a season-long order of merit builds from the finalized results. Standings carry divisions and a drill-down for every player, and the public club page shows the season without anyone publishing it.

Handicaps without the side spreadsheet

Parful calculates and revises handicaps from the rounds your members actually play, so the Stableford points on next month’s card reflect this month’s golf. Sync with an official handicap service runs for linked clubs where it is supported, and it is not required to run a season.

Stableford questions

Do we need official handicaps to play Stableford on Parful?

No. Parful calculates and revises handicaps from the rounds your members play. Official-service sync exists for linked clubs where it is supported, but it is not required.

Can players in the same group play different tees?

Yes, and it is the normal case. Playing handicaps adjust per tee, so the points stay fair across tees.

Does Parful support modified Stableford?

Not yet. Standard Stableford and net Stableford with allowances are supported today; modified and custom point tables are on the roadmap.

Can one round settle Stableford and other prizes at once?

Yes. Gross, net and Stableford resolve from the same scorecard, and side games like skins run alongside.
